Dr. Gary G. Ador Dionisio
Dean of the School of Diplomacy and Governance at De La Salle – College of Saint Benilde
After serving for several years as program chair of the Consular and Diplomatic Affairs Program at De La Salle – College of Saint Benilde School of Diplomacy and Governance (BENILDE), Dr. Gary G. Ador Dionisio was named Dean of the college in 2019.
Dr. Ador Dionisio earned his Doctor of Public Administration at the University of the Philippines National College of Public Administration and Governance and a Master of Arts in Political Science at the De La Salle University – Manila. He also attended short-term courses on Phronetic Leadership and Organizational Developments as a scholar in the National Graduate Institute for Policy Studies (GRIPS) in Tokyo, Japan, in 2016 and Global Leadership Program under the Osgood Center of International Studies in Washington, D.C., USA in 2017 and 2018.
He was appointed by the Commission on Higher Education as a Technical Evaluator for Public Administration and Governance for Higher Education Institutions, serving from May 2021 to May 2024.
Dr. Ador Dionisio has written, presented, and moderated various papers with themes on Governance and Public Administration, Public Policy, Civil Society Participation, International Relations and Diplomacy, and International Political Economy to national and international conferences held throughout Asia, Africa, Europe, and the USA. He is an occasional speaker at the Department of National Defense Armed Forces of the Philippines – Command General Service Staff College, and a Subject Matter Expert at the Graduate School of Public Development and Management at the Development Academy of the Philippines. He was also conferred as a Senior Fellow of the Philippine Public Safety College.
In addition to his work in academe, Dr. Ador Dionisio has engagements to national government, non-government organizations, and local government units in the Philippines in different capacities. Most recently, he was appointed by the Commission on Higher Education as Project Manager of the CHED and Benilde Business Continuity Plan Program for State Universities and Colleges. He also chairs the board of the, Institute of Politics and Governance, and is a Senior Advisor of WR Consultancy Group.

Joseph Prud’homme
Founding Director of Institute of Religion, Culture and Politics
Associate Professor of Political Science at Washington College
Joseph Prud’homme is The Burton Family Chair in Religion, Politics and Culture, associate professor of political science, and instructor in the Department of Philosophy and Religion, at Washington College. He has been director of the IRPC since its founding. Prud’homme received his doctorate from Princeton University and has been awarded fellowships at Harvard University and the University of Oxford. His expertise is in the areas of political philosophy, legal theory and constitutional law, the study of religion and political and cultural affairs, and urban and community studies. Among his publications are the books: Religion and Politics in America from the Colonial Period to the Civil War, Curriculum and the Culture Wars: Debating the Bible’s Place in Public Schools, and State Religious Education and the State of Religious Life, as well as numerous peer-reviewed articles in leading journals.

Maria Sharon Mapa Arriola
Associate Dean of the New Media Cluster of De La Salle — College of Saint Benilde School of Design and Arts
A visual artist and educator, Maria Sharon has been in the tertiary education sector for over 20 years. At present, she is the Associate Dean of the New Media Cluster of De La Salle — College of Saint Benilde School of Design and Arts in Manila, Philippines.
She holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts and a Master of Arts in Art Theory and Criticism from the University of the Philippines, Diliman, where she began her teaching career. In 2009, she was a Visiting Fellow of the National Endowment for the Arts and the U.S. Department of State International Arts Journalism Institute in Visual Arts. She received a Commission on Higher Education (CHED) Professional Advancement Grant for the Crisis Leadership in Higher Education Program, an executive education program sponsored by the Harvard Kennedy School at Harvard University. She published articles in the Cultural Center of the Philippines Encyclopedia of Philippine Art in 2017 and the Routledge Handbook of Cultural and Creative Industries in Asia in 2019.
Professor Sharon has been part of various international projects and roundtable discussions with the Asia-Europe Foundation (ASEF), Griffith University and Griffith Asia Institute, the European Network on Cultural Management and Policy (ENCATC), the Europe-Asia Roundtable Sessions (EARS) – Mumbai, the Australia-ASEAN Council, and the Bangkok International Performing Arts Market (BIPAM). She was part of the Ad Hoc Panel of Experts as a researcher in the 2016 National Living Treasures Awards of The National Commission for Culture and the Arts (NCCA).
